One of Roger's big roosters (16kg). Very addictive! One of Roger's big roosters (16kg). Very addictive!
So good was the fishing in El Salvador that our Roger's going back, and not alone.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the response to my blog 'Rooster Mania'. The number of phone calls and requests for more information from readers has left me almost speechless - no honestly!
It's got to the point where I'm in the process of arranging another trip to El Salvador early next year for a small group of TSF readers who are desperate to enjoy the same amazing sport I enjoyed just a few weeks ago. Obviously I'm not the only one who craves exciting sport fishing, whether it's here in England for bass or in some exotic destination overseas.

If it happens, the thrill for me will be seeing the look on their face when they hook their first roosterfish or jack crevalle and watch the line melting off their reel - an addictive, unforgettable experience.

I found El Salvador to be a wonderful country, where else can you walk barefoot on the sand and wade in warm water to fish with a backdrop of palm trees and volcanos, watch huge saltwater crocodiles sunbathing on the mudfalts, feed bananas to spider monkeys by hand and meet such friendly, welcoming people? That's why I have to go back.

On my next trip I'll be on there holiday so I may get one of our readers to write the blog and give his view on 'The trip of a lifetime!'

Make sure you keep checking the website for updates, maybe next time it could be you!

Roger Mortimore
